FDF Scotland supports food and drink manufacturing industry in Scotland
Established in 1999 to ensure our members’ views are heard by the Scottish Parliament and Government, other stakeholders and the media.
Over that time, we have successfully contributed to policy making and legislative development, championing our members’ views – large and small – on critical issues to their businesses. Providing an environment in which the sector can thrive.
FDF Cymru represents the food and drink manufacturing industry in Wales
Employing more than 26,500 people in over 575 businesses with a turnover of £6.7bn, the Welsh food and drink industry is an economic success story and a vital part of the Welsh national identity.
We ensure our members' views are heard by the Welsh Government and in the Senedd Cymru, as well as by relevant policy makers in the UK Government, including the Wales Office, providing an environment in which the sector can thrive.

We are all proud of Scotland’s food and drink industry. Our members across Scotland are part of the fabric of local communities and have been for generations, providing jobs, investment and of course great food and drink to feed our families. There are real opportunities ahead, and we need to work collaboratively to help businesses thrive.
