Food Safety Committee
The Food Safety Committee (FSC) enables FDF members to stay up to date with food safety issues and regulatory developments that affect, or have the potential to affect, the UK food and drink manufacturing industry.
The FSC is supported by a number of specialist technical committees and groups. It maintains an overview of their work and provides a strategic steer on significant and/or cross-cutting developments. The FSC guides the work on horizon scanning for emerging food safety issues, plus provides food safety expertise to support our work on international trade and environmental sustainability.
Next FSC meeting date: 24 September 2024 (interim call 3-4pm)
