UKAPY acts on behalf of its members as a central medium of communication with UK Government, UK trade regulatory or enforcement bodies and other public/private bodies, and political institutions at a European level, where appropriate.

Committee purpose

UK Association of Producers of Yeast (UKAPY) represents the interests of UK manufacturers of bakers' yeast. The purpose of the Association is to represent the industry's interests to Government and Whitehall on a wide range of issues of concern. COFALEC represents the industry's concerns at EU level.
